See the below Info-graphic. The other random fact is that Type 1 Diabetes can not be cured by any strange medical breakthroughs currently, or by diet and exercise. The difference between Type 2 and Type 1, is in Type 2 the pancreas isn’t working at 100%, but with Type 1, the cells of the Pancreas has died. So essentially, Type 1 Diabetics pancreas’
s are “dead.” So if you are a praying person, believe that the cells in the pancreas come to life and prayer a cure that brings those cells to life comes quickly.
Also it is important to know that for Type 1 Diabetic’s the very insulin that is saving their lives through injections under the skin, can also kill the person. If a person has too much insulin in their body, their blood sugar can go too low and they can go into a coma or even death.
The other struggle is the complications of diabetes due to high blood sugar which include blindness, kidney disease, high blood pressure, heart disease, slow healing, amputation, and more.
The reason many caregivers of Diabetics are so careful is the constant battle to keep their loved ones blood sugar as balanced as possible.
I just thought I’d take a moment to inform those who might not understand the disease. Thanks for supporting Diabetics and helping them through a rather large obstacle.
